About the sessions

Ethics, taught live

Design Like a Philosopher started as a solo talk and has grown into a masterclass — workshops, encore talks and bespoke sessions that bring the Ethical Design Bearing into the room with design, product and leadership teams. Sessions mix short talks with live activities: navigating bias, spotting ethical risk beyond the UI, and applying the framework to a real scenario.

Recent appearances include Signal Not Noise (formerly LAST Conference), Adelaide Design Thinking's ADL DT#3, and The Outlook 2026. Formats range from a 20-minute talk to a half-day workshop, and can be tailored to a team's own live projects.
